Uber Boat by Thames Clippers - Sail with Santa
the brief_
Uber Boat by Thames Clippers planned to host Sail with Santa events onboard their services over the festive period. Siren was tasked with raising awareness of the special sailings. The project offered a great opportunity to promote the River Bus as a way for families to travel in London over the Christmas period.
the approach_
Siren targeted family influencers from around the county and invited four families to join us on a special sailing with Santa. This gave the influencer families great opportunities to capture content of their children meeting Santa, and the entire process of travelling as a family on the Thames.
We also partnered with the Queen’s House Ice Rink, and the influencers travelled down the river and skated at Greenwich, showing their followers how Uber Boat by Thames Clippers is a great way to explore London.
We also used a professional photographer to capture to images. These sat alongside a press release that we sold in to national and London regional media.
the result_
Our influencers embraced the brief and created some wonderful content which received great feedback from their followers. We also saw the press release picked up in national title The Metro and across major London titles such as MyLondon and This is London.
