Octavian Fine Wines - demonstrating value
We were charged with engaging with more potential private clients to increase online account creation. As well as educating merchants and private clients (existing, new and potential) on the value of storing with Octavian and enhancing Octavian’s positioning of being the global fine wine storage facility.
After building our own understanding of the importance of safe, secure and correct storage for fine wines, we developed a number of story platforms to catch the attention of those with an interest in this critical element of wine collection and investment. Wine storage is a highly scientific and financially important element of wine investment. Octavian has been the pioneer and is acknowledged as the world-leading facility in this specialist space. Its client list is incredible, along with the significant scale, value and importance of some of the wine collections stored at its facilities in Wiltshire.
Our approach was twofold. Initially to tap into and generate exposure for the expertise sitting within the business, using its founder and owner Nigel Jagger and MD, Vincent O'Brien to talk to and educate the media on Octavian and its unique proposition. We targeted key media to raise awareness of the key elements involved in retaining and increasing wine value through protecting its provenance by choosing safe, secure and technically correct storage facilities.
Siren’s team secured coverage in lifestyle and trade media. The exposure resulted in a direct increase in website traffic, impressions and clicks for branded terms since late May when the PR activity began. This also grew domain authority and improved the website's SEO performance.
