EDGE London – sustainability hub launch in London
the brief_
EDGE London is a sustainable design and construction materials showroom based in Marylebone - the first of its kind in the UK.
Siren’s focus was to raise EDGE’s profile through a soft launch, amongst professionals interested in making their projects more sustainable, to drive traffic to EDGE’s website in order to stimulate call-to-action conversion, and to generate footfall to the showroom itself.
the approach_
A targeted press office play, Siren engaged relevant media outlets in the architecture, construction and interior design and specifications spheres – utilising existing contacts and building relationships with journalists in leading publications, such as Architects' Journal, Grand Designs Magazine, Interior Designer and Architecture Magazine.
Siren combined both earned media and interviews with paid features to generate maximum coverage and establish EDGE as a leading brand within the sustainable materials and design space.
Siren also conducted an SEO, copy and user-journey audit of EDGE's website, providing a comprehensive report of recommended amendments in order to increase engagement with the website, maximise call-to-action conversion and drive traffic through increased visibility in search engines through SEO.
the result_
In a little over a month of working with EDGE, Siren successfully introduced the brand to key media in the architecture, construction and interior design spaces, with over a dozen confirmed pieces of earned coverage in reputable outlets and several upcoming paid features in thought-leading publications. A number of key journalists also visited the site by appointment.
EDGE has therefore decided to partner with Siren again in September to further promote awareness of its brand, and consolidate its presence in the UK architecture and design market. As a result of the soft launch campaign, EDGE was featured in leading publications such as Architects’ Journal, Architecture Magazine, Interior Designer, Interior Design Yearbook, Grand Designs Magazine and Self Build & Design.
