Bodyfriend: Building a social media presence
As part of the European market launch of Bodyfriend, a pioneering global health-tech brand which produces leading luxury massage chairs. Siren was tasked with role of increasing Bodyfriend’s social media presence across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to help raise awareness, build profile and convert some of the traffic into sales.
With a luxury brand that had very little reputation in the UK, the strategy had to be engaging and creative to build an online buzz that would appeal to the UK market and convince consumers to commit to such a large purchase.
Our first port of call was to create a brand bible and relevant content themes so that our comms across earned and owned media remained consistent. This guide became a key reference for the tone and understanding of the client.
Afterwards, we took a look at the individual nature of various social media platforms and decided an approach and various goals based on their varying audiences. For example, across LinkedIn, Siren endeavoured to illustrate Bodyfriend’s place as a pioneering award-winning business through thought-leadership and educational posts. With Instagram Siren showcased Bodyfriend’s personality in a more visual manner. Photo shoots were organsied to create beautiful, engaging content; videos and stills that could be used across all channels.
Through monthly reports, Siren gathered data on demographics, locations and timings, the data helped shape our thinking, content and level of success. We also created relevant content around UK and European awareness days in order to provide news hooks and illustrate Bodyfriend’s place in the modern world.
Since working with Bodyfriend, Siren has created cohesive social feeds which have grown in followers and engagement and as a result have driven hundreds of users to the Bodyfriend website monthly.
Bodyfriend’s sales has increased 200% since we started working with them and for example, over the last 90 days (June-August 2021), Bodyfriend’s instagram has had over 46,154 impressions which is a significant increase as when we started working with Bodyfriend there were only a couple of hundred followers across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
