the brief_

London restaurant group Albion & East instructed Siren Comms to launch its first two venues: Martello Hall in Hackney opened its doors in December 2016, followed by Canova Hall in September 2017. 

Our brief included securing the reviews and exposure that would create a lasting and credible buzz, engaging influencers and ultimately driving footfall.

Our team gave on-the-ground support with the planning and logistics of both openings, organising the launch parties and targeting high-profile industry press and consumer media coverage pre- and post-event.


Siren Comms put together strategic and comprehensive media plans highlighting the USPs of both Albion & East venues, positioning them as stylish all-day social hubs in hip locations, appealing to on-trend consumers from hot-desking digital nomads to barflies and the all-day brunch set. 


We set up a wide range of press reviews with top-tier media, as well as drawing and keeping the attention of London’s leading food and lifestyle influencers.

Following two very successful launch events, Siren Comms secured more than 170 pieces of coverage for both venues across the most respected and relevant lifestyle and news titles, including Wallpaper*, Stylist, Metro and The Evening Standard – netting a combined media value of over £1.6 million. 


Mentions in Time Out’s Bar of the Week and Condé Nast Traveller’s 2017 round-up of The Best Restaurants in London Right Now contributed to a total reach in excess of 150 million.
