For some, September is all about going back to school or that last minute summer getaway. But for our lovely client, travel management company ATPI, the first week of September this year was London International Shipping Week (or LISW).

LISW is a time for marine and shipping industry professionals from around the world to get together to discuss business, ways to work together and further collaborate.

For ATPI it is a chance to show off the specialist oil and gas faction, ATPI Griffinstone and promote its name in the wider business sphere.

To kick it all off, ATPI Griffinstone, as a sponsor opened LISW on Monday 11 September at the London Stock Exchange and contrary to popular belief, it’s not a massive bell on a trading floor like in Wolf of Wall Street but a digital version where a futuristic design counts down until trading opens. It’s very impressive, we promise. LISW is one to watch as journalists and industry professional will be at back to back briefings and events learning and what’s hot in the shipping world.
