April 2023, London: The charity, The Royal Society of Literature (RSL) has appointed comms and digital marketing agency, Siren Communications to amplify its important work with digital marketing.

As part of the project, Siren Comms will deliver refreshed messaging and provide robust comms planning around the RSL’s active calendar of events and campaigns. Meanwhile, the agency will also plan and implement a series of digital engagement campaigns to reach new audiences for the RSL.

Luna Benai

Siren Communications is excited to be expanding its client portfolio within the luxury sector with their recent appointment of contemporary art and fashion brand Luna Benai. The Siren team will support founder Katia Luna Benai on launching the brand to a UK audience targeting HNWI, driving partnerships, securing media exposure and developing brand messaging.

Luna Benaï creates luxurious contemporary Objets D’Art inspired by ancient Amazigh heritage and tradition. Every artifact tells a unique story and brings new meaning to wearable art. With Amazigh heritage, founder Katia Luna Benai lived her early years with her maternal grandmother and six aunts in a female-dominated household in Tébessa, Algeria. As a result of her family’s work and her father’s occupation as a diplomat, Katia spent her adolescence travelling, living in the Ivory Coast, India, Singapore, Paris, and London – ultimately leading her to pursue postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Arts.

This constant immersion in new and diverse cultures was the catalyst for her interest in traditional artforms, which now shapes the Luna Benai story. Luna Benai draws on traditional culture and heritage to create ‘wearable pieces of art’. The debut collection consists of two limited-edition geometric handbags – Nyx and Zazia – which are inspired by Amazigh history in their design.

The team will be led by Siren Comms Director Katie Wright and supported by Senior Account Director Dimitra Papoutsakis.

Check out the website we created for our new client Four Corners Hospitality Group that cleanly demonstrates their expertise, values and approach providing leading global hotel support.

We were tasked by Four Corners Hospitality Group, one of the world’s leading providers of global hotel ownership support, with reviewing their website. After a robust appraisal, we offered our services to build a website from scratch. We duly delivered a sleek corporate website fit for 2023 and the future that illustrated the brand’s central tenets. This has demonstrated Siren’s ability to adapt and achieve clients goals that extend from the more traditional PR remit through into the digital space of website build and design.

As we all know, the world is facing significant challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and environmental degradation. As businesses, we have a responsibility to play our part in creating a sustainable future for all. This is where B Corps come in.

B Corp, or Benefit Corporation, is a certification that businesses can earn by meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corps are businesses that are committed to using their profits and growth to create a positive impact on society and the environment and this fits comfortably into Siren’s values.

With the current global situation, it’s now more important than ever to work towards being a sustainable business. At Siren we’re proud to be a certified B Corp, and we believe that every business can play a role in creating a more sustainable future. Let’s work together towards a better future for all.

We’re thrilled to share that we are now working with The Seeing Dogs Alliance!

The Seeing Dogs Alliance have appointed us to grow awareness of its work as part of a drive to train more guide dogs to help reduce waiting lists for guide dogs and help stem the much-publicised national shortage.

The SDA’s entire focus is on giving people with visual impairments access to guide dogs, providing a bespoke service with a personalised approach by carefully matching a dog to the needs of the person.

The SDA’s work to connect their clients with guide dogs delivers life-changing support and more independence for people in need. It is run by a group of five volunteers, including three guide dog owners, a former member of Guide Dogs for the Blind, and a certified accountant.

We’re looking forward to beginning work with this amazing non-profit organisation!

Five training courses were completed by all our Siren Communications team as part of our collaborative work with the National Centre for Diversity including training in Diverse Cultures, Train your Brain to Manage Unconscious Bias, advancing FREDIE (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement), Mental Wellbeing While Working and Neuro-diversity.

All were extremely informative, unmasking so much there is to constantly learn and improve on within this space. Part of our wider work with the NCOD includes rolling out a carefully crafted action plan, following a full analysis of our business to ensuring embracing the practises of FREDIE run through all areas of the business and the team.

It was great to read this article released by The New York Times last week quoting a Harvard Kennedy School lecturer Robert Livingston saying ‘focus on actions and behaviours rather than hearts and minds’ – and action focused is what we are at Siren Comms.

It’s been a busy and exciting time here at Siren Towers as we’ve recently won a trio of new clients across the consumer travel and B2B travel technology sectors.

We are happy to announce that we are now working with Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours, TripBAM and Currensea.

We are proud to be working with Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours as its UK consumer press office. Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours has grown over its 31-year history to include award-winning, all-inclusive escorted tours that take guests to many of the world’s most fascinating destinations and, since 2008, truly all-inclusive, five-star river cruises in Europe, South East Asia, Russia and Egypt on its 15 Space-Ships. In August 2019, Scenic introduced the world’s first Discovery Yacht, the 228-guest Scenic Eclipse, with a sister ship due to launch in 2020.

We have also been appointed by TripBAM, the award-winning hotel shopping, benchmarking and analytics solution provider. TripBAM enables travel managers to secure the best possible hotel rates and improves clients’ corporate hotel programmes. The initial six-month project will see Siren Comms introduce the brand and its services and build profile among European travel trade media. This appointment adds to Siren’s growing B2B portfolio which includes a raft of travel technology, corporate travel, and industry body and tour operator organisations.

Rounding off our trio of recent wins is Currensea. The UK’s first travel money card linked directly to your bank account has opened its waiting list ahead of its launch. Backed by a team of angel investors and advised by Robin Terrell, ex UK MD Amazon and Marc O’Brien ex CEO of Visa UK, the card has been designed to take the stress out of travel money whilst offering an open, honest and simple solution. Siren is working with the travel money card provider on its pre-launch activity, building the waiting list.

Rachel O’Connor, our founding director and CEO, comments: “It’s been a busy year and these three wins are a testament to the hard work of the Siren Comms team. We’ve expanded our agency offering this year, partnering with digital marketing specialists to offer broader, joined-up communications which is proving popular with existing and potential new clients. We’re already looking forward to growing further in 2020.”

We are always ready for a new challenge, if you’re looking for a new agency, let’s talk.
