Siren Communications is a close-knit and busy PR agency in the heart of London specialising in travel and lifestyle PR. We are looking for a new proactive and news oriented account executive to join our team, primarily working on a luxury cruise account whilst taking on responsibilities for other clients as you grow in the role. We need someone with excellent written English who is detail oriented and quick thinking; has an understanding of print, online and social media; is confident on the phone with journalists and clients, and; has the ability to learn and retain a lot of detail about our clients’ products and services.
Being a specialist travel PR agency, we’re looking for someone with an interest in travel and a sound understanding of global geography (ie, you can point to Florida on a map). The role will include administrative tasks, including saving down coverage, producing reports, writing and distributing press releases, responding to multiple media requests a day including phone pitching – you need to be organised, work to deadlines, have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and be prepared to muck in to get the job done.
